INDIA/DUBAI TRIP 2017

I'M BAAAAACK!!!

It has been one heck of a trip - 3 weeks, 2 countries, tons of major cities, and a countless amount of memories!

Where do I even begin? To start off, this trip was the perfect mix of visiting family members, being tourists, relaxing, and honestly, just making the most of every second by experiencing so much of the Indian culture.

Check out the major places we visited:

India:

  • Kerala: Kanakkary, Meladoor, Kuttukkanam, Vagamon
  • New Delhi: Qutb Minar, India Gate, Humayun's Tomb, Lotus Temple
  • Agra: Taj Mahal
  • Jaipur: Rajasthan, City Palace, Hawa Mahal, Amer Fort

United Arab Emirates:

  • Dubai: Burj Al Arab, Burj Khalifa
Burj Khalifa, Dubai   breathtaking, i know. The burj khalifa holds the record as the tallest building in the world. we were fortunate enough to stop by at the top and capture this picture!

Kerala - God's Own Country Kerala comes from 'kera' in Malayalam, which means coconut. No surprise here - Kerala is the land of coconuts!

Elephant Village - Jaipur meet chanda, a beautiful 28 year old indian elephant from Jaipur. jeffrey and I spent quite some time with her. we first got to know her by petting her and showering her with hugs and kisses! we fed her bamboo, painted her nails and butt (lol), went on a very relaxing 15-20 minute ride, and wrapped up our elephant experience by giving her some water to drink.   You might be wondering why we painted Chanda's butt. When i was a little girl, I asked daddy how he learned to paint. like any girl would, i believed him when he told me the first time he painted was on an elephant's butt. 23 years later, i came to realize he was joking! And with that, this picture was taken in honor of me believing his story (all these years).

New Year, New Me?

Come on, I know you say it too, don't be shy. Whether we're joking about it or not, there's some truth behind it, right? New me? I don't think so - not entirely, but a better version of me? Yup, that sounds about right.

I'm weird and I'll be the first one to admit it. I like starting fresh, doing something new and different the first day of each year, month, and week. That's just me and that's why I'm starting this "New Me", I mean Sabrina 2.0 today - January 1st. If you know me, you're probably nodding your head, and if you don't know me, well, hi I'm Sabrina and I love change and doing... well pretty much everything. So here I am starting something completely new. I hope you enjoy being apart of this journey with me! You're in for one hell of a ride! Enjoy!

Xo, Sabrina
