The recipe I’m about to share with you is an easy INSTANT way to stir up some delicious shrimp for dinner in about 15-30 minutes.

1 lb uncooked shrimp (peeled)
2 tsp vegetable oil
Honey Garlic Shrimp:
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup honey
1 tbsp minced garlic
1 tbsp minced ginger
Out of minced ginger? No problem. I substituted this with ground ginger and it worked just fine!
Now that we have our ingredients, let’s start cooking!
Thaw shrimp in a bowl of cold water.
Whisk the soy sauce, honey, garlic, and ginger together in a medium bowl.
Put the shrimp and half of the marinade into a ziplock bag or container & shake.
I used a ziplock bag and let the bag of shrimp with marinade sit in the refrigerator (for about 30 minutes or less) to really soak in all the flavor!
Place Instant Pot on sauté. Add vegetable oil, shrimp and marinade. Cook for 3 minutes stirring regularly.
Cover the Instant Pot and set to Manual High Pressure for 5 minutes.
PRO TIP: Don’t overcook - it will take away the rich savory flavor of the shrimp.
When complete, do a Quick Release & be sure to follow the Instant Pot safety directions.
Switch the pressure valve to the venting position and let the steam release.
Once the steam is completely released, open the lid and stir the shrimp. Serve & enjoy!
For a nice touch & pretty display, sprinkle some coriander leaves over the shrimp.
